SJUT Main Campus (Chief Mazengo Campus) is located in Kikuyu, Dodoma at the site of the former Alliance and Mazengo Secondary School. Apart from teaching rooms the University offers housing and accommodation to staff and students.

Chapel
A service is held on weekdays from 8.00am to 8.30am at the University Chapel. All staff and students are welcome to attend. The Chapel is also available during the day for contemplation and private prayer. The Chaplain to the University is a full time member of staff responsible for the spiritual care of staff and students of all faiths. He and his assistant are also available for counselling services.

Shops/Banks
A number of shops are available on campus supplying everyday essentials and stationery services. There are also two ATMs whose services are available 24 hours.

University Dispensary
The dispensary offers health care services to all students and staff at SJUT. In addition to consulting rooms there is a laboratory and dispensing pharmacy. Full time staff includes 1 Doctors, 1 Nurse/midwife, 1 Nursing Officer, 1 Pharmaceutical Assistant, 1 Laboratory Assistant and 2 Nursing assistants. The Pharmacy is open during weekdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 6:00pm and from 8:00am to 1:00pm on weekends.

IT facilities
There are 5 Computer Laboratories with over 140 computers available for student to use. When not scheduled for classes these rooms are available for student drop in time and are frequently used over the lunch break and in the evening up until 10:00 pm and at the weekends. There are also other computers available for student use within some departments. The university has a fibre optic connection to the Internet providing students and staff with high speed internet access.

Sports Facilities
Sporting facilities exist for students and staff. The range of choice of games and sports played at the University includes basketball, soccer, netball, volleyball, table tennis, pool table, rugby and athletics. Women’s soccer will soon be added to the list of sporting teams.
